16:00 Ceremony

Join us at Castello il Palagio for the wedding ceremony.


16:30 - 18:30 Aperitif

Refreshments and local tuscan cuisine will be provided within the castle gardens.


18:30 Dinner and Speeches

A three course meal with local Italian wines within the castle courtyard.


21:30 Cake and Party

Celebrate with the newlyweds and enjoy the party!


00:30 Celebration Ends

A coach will collect guests staying in Florence dropping off in the city centre.

Wedding Day Transport

For those staying in Florence city centre, a bus will be organised to collect and drop off guests to and from the wedding venue. There is also parking for those travelling via car.

Further information regarding the collection time and pick up location will be provided closer to the day.

Flights

Flights for August 2025 are not currently available. Below is information regarding the current available flights (2024). Flights are normally released 11 to 12 months in advance. We will be flying from Bristol to Pisa. If enough guests join us on that flight, we can look into shared transport into Florence.


Bristol to Pisa International Airport

There are flights to and from Pisa on Tuesdays through to Saturdays. Pisa has a direct train into Florence that takes 1hr30. Alternatively there is car rental at the airport. Car travel from the airport takes roughly 1hr. There is also a shuttle bus service from Pisa Airport to Florence city centre costing approx £10 and taking around an hour.


Gatwick to Florence

This is the only direct flight from the UK to Florence.


Bristol to Rome

There are daily flights from Bristol to Rome. There is a direct train from Rome Airport to Florence. This takes around 2hrs. Car travel from the airport takes 3hr30.

Hotels

We will be staying in Florence city centre. You are more than welcome to join us, but there is no pressure! Feel free to do what works best for you. There are some lovely hotels within the city centre as well as just outside. There are also villas within the Tuscany region just outside of Florence.

We will share the information here when we have booked our accommodation

We will book our accommodation once the 2025 flights are released.

Uffizi Gallery

The Uffizi Gallery is a prominent art museum located adjacent to the Piazza della Signoria in the Historic Centre of Florence in the region of Tuscany, Italy.

Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore

Florence Cathedral, formally the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Flower, is the cathedral of Florence, Italy. It was begun in 1296 in the Gothic style to a design of Arnolfo di Cambio and was structurally completed by 1436, with the dome engineered by Filippo Brunelleschi.

Outside of Florence

Pisa and Lucca are main tourist attractions within 1 hour of Florence. Some may wish to travel down to the Amalfi Coast or down to Rome after a city break in Florence.
